This is the storyboard for my movie. I added one song to the soundtrack just so it wouldnt go silent.

Location Pictures

This is the location for my film. A run down part of westbourne green, Paddington. I chose this location as it fits as a crime riddled setting in which the characters seem to be camouflaged into. it is an urban location due to the movie theme also being urban. the location is suitable for my theme as a crime thriller as it presents a good place to make thrilling scenery and it adds to the atmosphere of crime.

EXT-Outside of a thug’s slum like house- light fresh spring day
The surroundings of a pitiable house, a Thug walks along the outside of a grimey looking building and then enters it.
there are two thugs sitting around a crappy table which looks like an old crate, on this crate are cards drinks, and cigarettes which make it apparent they are looking for entertainment. They are in discussion and seem to be enjoying themselves.

the opening shot is a medium close-up of the sign of the blocks name. and then the surrounding area.

Establishing (tacking) shot
The next shot is an establishing tracking shot of the outside of the underneath of my block, starting from the sign with the block's name on it. It looks isolated until we see the a character, who walks out from a dark corridor and then into the other corridor.

as the main thug walks round to sit in the available seat, it is a wide shot from the corridor facing the 'table' whilst both the other thugs are still in view of the shot.

as the thug picks up the cards to shuffle it switches to a close-up of the thugs hands and the cards being shuffled by him.

A wide shot of the smart man walking near the corner. We now see he is just round the corner to the thugs as he sees the thugs and quickly steps back luckily he is unseen. He prepares his weapon.

It switches to a wide shot of the thugs. There is a focus pull as in the back you can see the smart man, the smart shouts with his gun pointed.

It switches to a point of view shot from the ‘smart man’s’ POV. You can see the thugs running away, knocking the crates away.

Then there is a mid shot, here the main thug runs past and then so does the smart man who we have now established is a policeman.

It turns into a handheld cam shot. You can see part of the thug’s shoulders and above and the policeman in the background chasing him.

It changes into a wide shot of the top of the stairs, the camera follows the thug and then goes back to the stairs and follows the policeman after.

Then a wide shot of the thug running and the policeman gets into the shot shortly after.

Handheld cam shot. In this shot you can just see the thug running as if it was a POV of the policeman.

Opening sequence

First scene: a group of thug-looking people are playing card games involving money are sitting around a small table. A phone rings and on of the thugs picks it up. Shot changes to a panicky person speaking of how “they are coming!” with the thug asking who?
A man dressed in business dress appears in the distance, he shouts at them and in an instance they get up accidentally kicking over the table in the process, with one guy picking up some of the money and running.
It turns into a chase as the well-dressed man runs after the main thug, they run as they encounter obstacles avoiding them, the well-dressed man then disappears and the thug takes a rest catching his breath. Then it switches to an extreme close-up shot from the side of another well-dressed man with a black jacket, the next shot shows him lighting a cigarette and putting it in his mouth, it then switches back to the thug, he looks back and the well-dressed man has caught up to him so he begins to run again the shot changes to the other well-dressed man smoking the cigarette with the smoke surrounding the frame, the thug keeps running and then turns his head back to look if he is still being chased. When he turns his head back he has no time to move out of the way of a man and he bumps into him and falls to the floor, he looks like he is in pain, it turns to a blurry low angle shot of a well-dressed man the focus then sharpens and you see that it is the well-dressed man that was smoking, the man asks “where is he?” the thug says “I don’t know!” the man then takes out a gun and says “what you don’t know CAN kill you” it then goes black and you hear a gunshot and the film name runs, then the company name and then the credits.
