one man production opening sequence:
unwanted criminal:
this opening seuence is very interesting and it relates quite well to the target audience. the title screen is good, and the logo is very suitable with the genre. i though the the use on match on action was very good. the choice of camera angles is good and i thought i suited well with the movie. another camera shot that caught my eye was the hand held camera, i thought it was used very well and it created verisimilitude. the choice of custome was very good and apropriate.

I am one of your target audiences and have watched your video.
Firstly I really liked the close up of the mobile phone ringing, this shot allowed the audience to feel immediacy. I also really liked the hand held camera work as it made me feel as if there was someone running behind him.
Your target audience is 15 to 25 year olds and I believe that you have fitted your film into this category.
The titles that you have used were very appealing and made me more interested in watching your production.
Your chosen genre is Urban Crime Thriller and from looking at different productions within the same genre you have met the criteria.
The soundtrack used is very appealing and doesn’t sound odd it adds to the affect of the continuity editing,
The use of subtitles work well and allows the audience to stay on track with what is happening even though the character s speaking another language.
My overall rating would be 8/10

Certificate: 15
Target Audience: 15-25 year olds
Target Gender: Majority Males.

I am a young person, I recently watched 'Unwanted Criminal.' I believe it appeals to me & other young people as we are the target audience. Although I am a female, I believe it would appeal more to males between the ages of 15-25.

The opening sequence began with a title screen which shows the logo of a shodowy mysterious man standing with his hands in his pockets. This further symbolises the reason behind the name 'One Man Productions.'

The title screan represents the genre of the film 'urban crime thriller' The colour schemes of white and black proves that its a very classic urban style film.

The lighting in the opening sequence is dull and dark but this comes across as natural due to the choice of location (a deprived estate in central london)This is ideal for a urban crime thriller film.

The sound in the opening sequance changes from a string instrumental steady beat, to an electronical steady beat which expresses the changes between scenes. The use of dialogue in the film suggests that of a 'gangster' type film. There is use of a foreign language which subtitled translation is shown. This helps people that do not understand the what the character is saying in another language.

The choice of costume chosen symbolises the social groups that the characters fall under, such as 'gangsters' they wore hoodies & 'low-batty' trousers which are the stereotypical choice of clothing for 'bad boys on the street.'

This opening sequence was used for continuaty editing as it had a steady plot/storyline.

Camera shots:

There was a mixture of very interesting shots such as hand held camera shots, close-ups & fast paced movement shots these were all used to show the change of pace, facial expressions of characters & created a sence of immediacy (feeling as though audience are in the film.)

This opening sequence showed verisimiltude of young males in the society nowadays.

There was also some panning which also was used to show the fast pace of the opening sequance.

The titles were the same as the title screen (black and white colour scheme on an all black backround)

In conclusion although I am a female, I think that this film was very professionally done & it was typical of gangster criminals. I for one thoroughly enjoyed watching this opening sequence.
